Anne – Having grown up in Stamford and moved away to work at Harrods and Simpsons in London, it was inevitable Anne would end up back here. One day in November, 1978 Anne was strolling along St Marys Street with her Dad, on her way to look at a shop in the High Street and just stumbled upon the Georgian facade of Number 4. Luckily it had a For Sale sign above it. That was it, the start of Robinson’s in Stamford. Good job too, we think St Mary’s is the best Street in town!
Becca – Fast forward 9 years and there was an addition to the shop and home at Number 4, Anne’s daughter Becca was born. Often, back then, to be found peeping out the window upstairs keeping an eye on the street. After a stint away at university she came back to work alongside Anne and for the last few years they’ve made a great team!
Laura – Back in 2010 Laura worked for us whilst Becca went travelling, after working elsewhere for a while Laura is back with us and working 3 days a week. She’s great fun and always happy to chat!
